Jesus spoke clearly about the reality of judgment. Hell is not a topic we can afford to ignore, because understanding its seriousness should deepen our concern for those who do not yet know Christ. The reality of eternal separation from God should energize our prayers, sharpen our Gospel witness, and increase our compassion for souls who desperately need the hope of salvation.
But Scripture also gives believers extraordinary comfort. Jesus promised that He is preparing a place for His people and that He will return to bring them to Himself. Heaven will mean uninterrupted fellowship with our Creator, freedom from spiritual conflict, and the peace our souls have longed for.
After a lifetime of struggle, temptation, and service, the Christian will finally rest from labor in the presence of Christ. This devotional invites you to live with eternity in view—rejoicing in the hope of heaven and urgently sharing the Good News with those who need to hear it.

Father, thank You for the reminder that one day I will have eternal rest and peace in heaven. Until then, help me not to forget that there are many people around me who are headed for hell. Help me share Your love and Truth with them. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
