Dr. Youssef highlights nine names of God that strengthen faith and fuel praise: Yahweh, the ever-living God who is always there; Yahweh-Jireh, the Lord who provides; Yahweh-Rapha, the Lord our healer; Yahweh-Nissi, the Lord our banner and victory; Yahweh-Mekaddish, the Lord who sanctifies; Yahweh-Shalom, the Lord our peace; Yahweh-Rohi, the Lord our shepherd; Yahweh-Tsidkenu, the Lord our righteousness; and Yahweh-Shammah, the God who is present with His people.
Each name points us to a different expression of God’s grace and faithfulness. He sees ahead. He heals wounds. He leads His people in triumph. He sets us apart. He gives peace that surpasses understanding. He shepherds us with eternal care. He clothes us in the righteousness of Christ. And He delights when we draw near to Him in fellowship.
The more we praise God by His names, the more we recognize His power and sovereignty at work in our lives. Begin praising Him daily for who He is, and your worship will become a doorway to deeper trust, greater joy, and transformed living.
